I had seen these things called a BrewPi on line... basically it is an Ardunio board running Linux that some guys wrote some code for to handle the temp control. But you have to build it your self, flash it your self and a bunch of other stuff. Went to www.HomeBrewTalk.com to see how other guys might be solving the issue and Greg Smith at BrewsBySmith was featured on their front page giving one away. I bought one on the spot!
Not only will this thing control both the heating and cooling, it is programmable so you can create temperature profiles over time. And ramping feature will allow you to set long temperature changes like the cold crash after the ferment is over.
